Port & Company KP55 Core Blend jersey polo with embroidered logo

The KP55 is the polo we quote when the budget is tight. Port & Company is our go-to value brand; we rate it a step above Gildan for consistency. It is a jersey knit, not pique, so it feels like a soft tee with a collar.

Jersey knit vs pique for embroidery
Jersey is smoother than pique, so small text reads a little cleaner, but the fabric is lighter and shows a stitched-out logo more. We keep left-chest logos at 3 to 3.5 inches wide on the KP55 and recommend a simple, bold mark. For a heavier hand and a more traditional look, step up to the K500.
