Sleeve, back-yoke and right-chest embroidery adds
Most programs start with a left-chest logo. Adds go on the sleeve, the back yoke or the right chest. Battle Born Clothing quotes each add per job based on stitch count and quantity.
Common add locations
| Location | Typical size | Common use |
|---|---|---|
| Left or right sleeve | 2 to 2.5 in wide | Secondary logo, certification mark, flag |
| Back yoke (below collar) | Up to 10 to 12 in wide | Company name, SECURITY, website |
| Right chest | 3 to 4 in wide | Tagline, division name, employee name |
| Above pocket | 2.5 to 3 in wide | Primary logo on pocket polos |
How adds are priced
Each add is a separate embroidery run with its own hooping, so it is priced per location per piece and quoted per job. Each new design also needs its own digitizing at $18.99 one-time. Simple text adds (a company name in a standard block font) are cheaper to digitize and faster to run than a second full logo.
Order tips
- Send all locations on one quote so we price the job as a whole.
- Keep back-yoke text to one or two lines; wide text on a knit needs careful stabilizing.
- A sleeve logo on a performance knit should stay under 2.5 inches wide.
- Tell us if different people get different adds (for example, supervisors get a back-yoke title).

Questions
Does a back-yoke add change the turnaround?
Not usually. Standard turnaround stays 28 days from proof approval unless the job is very large or the add is unusually dense.
Can every shirt have a different back-yoke title?
Yes. Each unique title is handled as personalization and quoted per job. Send a list matched to sizes.
